Wow this was a very surprising article for me. First of all, I always thought the Kennedy Space Center was further south, closer to Miami. I am surprised that it is closer to Orlando (as if Orlando did not already have enough attractions).

I am also surprised that there is so much to do at Kennedy Space Center. I always thought that it was a place where rockets were launched and people gathered in a certain area to watch the launches, and that is all.

Needless to say, I am very happy to come across this article because now I have real reasons to consider the Kennedy Space Center as a travel destination this year or next. I will show my wife this article and we will decide on vacation plans to the Orlando area. Our boys would love to visit the Kennedy Space Center considering the free junior space explorer program. They have already enjoyed such programs in various national parks and this would be a great addition to their experiences. I will bookmark this article to show it to my wife this weekend. Thank you for this article.
It will be very useful to my family.

      Hi Mac,

I love that this article changed your perception of the Kennedy Space Center. A lot of people are surprised to learn it’s just about an hour from Orlando and that the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex offers so much more than launch viewing. The Junior Space Explorer Pass really does make it an even better fit for families, especially if your boys already enjoy national park programs. If you do decide to plan that Orlando trip, I’d love to hear what exhibits or experiences they end up loving the most!

Thanks so much for bookmarking and sharing it with your wife. I hope it helps you plan an unforgettable family adventure.
