Why don’t I live in America? I’d love to have a National Pancake Day in France! Yes, there’s Mardi Gras but you can actually eat whatever you want, provided it’s fat and/or sweet! I just happen to love pancakes, so I’d be in heaven with such a day! Especially when charitable work comes with it. Bravo to IHOP restaurants for this initiative!

Pancakes are one of my favorite breakfast foods. I make them at home all of the time. I have only been to IHOP myself a few times, but I love free food and I do love pancakes. Is it all IHOP restaurants throughout the United States? Or is it only participating IHOP restaurants? Another question, can you get your free pancakes for curbside pickup or takeout? Or is the deal only for Dine-In?

Hi Stephanie, the free National Pancake Day offer should be available at IHOP restaurants across the USA, but it is always recommended that you confirm that your local restaurant is participating in the offer.

This free pancake deal is only available for dining in the restaurant on National Pancake Day between the hours of 7 am and 7 pm. Enjoy!

I love free IHOP pancakes on national pancake Day. They taste great. The taste would take me to my grandma’s home where she used to give me pancakes for breakfast and those could make my day. Now that my grandma is gone I have the chance to recall the feeling of nostalgia.

Hi Liam, thanks for sharing – that is so sweet! Pancake breakfasts remind me of my grandparents too. How nice to enjoy these fond memories over a meal!

Awesome, thanks for sharing this information! I haven’t been to an IHOP in quite some time but going on National Pancake Day/Fat Tuesday/Mardi Gras sounds like a great idea. I live in Canada but not far from the border, so I will talk with my husband and we’ll take a look what is the closest IHop to the border, so I keep my finger crossed! I think is a great idea, especially if it is made for a great cause. I am totally for this and everything it stands for.

It’s a great event that hoped to raise $4 million for charities this year! Hopefully they were able to give away a lot of free pancakes and raise a significant amount of money for those great causes!

Pancakes make a great breakfast food and start to the day, but it’s also great that this promotion runs from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. so that we can enjoy them as dessert for another meal if we so choose!

Thank you so much for such an excellent article. I think most of our people like sweets and pancakes are one of them. What attracted my attention in the article was that one of the goals of IHOP’s National Pancake Day was to raise funds for the kids in the area, which I must applaud for the passing of this great event. I really enjoyed your article and I have benefited from reading this valuable information and I think other people like me will benefit from reading this article.
