Veterans Day honors all of those who have served the US and is observed on November 11. In addition to the holiday remembrances, many businesses recognize and honor veterans with great Veterans Day deals (and often extends offers to their families). While many of these are only for Veterans, there are also some great offers that are available to everyone!

These great FREE offers are valid for everyone (veterans and non-veterans) on Veterans Day 2019. Take advantage of free US National Park entrance and free US National Forest entrances all over the USA! Note that these free admission offers are only valid on Monday, November 11th.

Free Veterans Day Meals for Veterans
These restaurant chains are honoring veterans at locations all across the country. Enjoy a free meal at your choice of restaurant. Be sure to have your military / veteran ID with you and to confirm local restaurant participation in advance!
- Applebee’s: Free meal for veterans at participating Applebee’s restaurants
- California Pizza Kitchen: Veterans and active U.S. military can enjoy a complimentary meal at California Pizza Kitchen off of the special Veterans Day menu. Includes choice of pizza, full-sized salad, or pasta, alongside a beverage. Valid ID / proof of service is required.
- Chili’s: Free meal (from select menu) for veterans at participating Chili’s restaurants
- Cicis: For Veterans Day, those with valid active duty or retired military I.D.s can enjoy a free unlimited buffet (coupon required)
- Cracker Barrel: Military veterans and active duty military will receive a complimentary Pumpkin Pie Latte or slice of Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake at all Cracker Barrel locations.
- Einstein Bros Bagels: Free bagel & shmear with any purchase at participating locations
- Friendly’s: Free meal at participating restaurants
- Hooters: Free meal (from select menu) for veterans at participating Hooters restaurants
- Krispy Kreme: Free doughnut and small coffee at participating restaurants
- Macaroni Grill: Free Mom’s Rictota Meatballs + Spaghetti at participating restaurants
- O’Charleys: Free meal (from select menu) for veterans at participating restaurants
- Olive Garden: Free meal (from select menu) for veterans at participating Olive Garden restaurants
- On the Border: Free Combo 2 at participating restaurants
- Red Lobster: Active duty military, reserve, and military veterans get a free appetizer or dessert
- Ruby Tuesday: Free burger or sandwich (up to $14) for all former and active duty service members. Valid ID / proof of service is required.
- Twin Peaks: Free food from select menu of items offered to armed forces at participating restaurants
- Wild Wing Cafe: Free order of 6 wings or nuggets at participating restaurants

Other Veterans Day Deals & Offers for Veterans
- American Family Care: Urgent care centers are giving free flu shots to veterans with valid ID on Veterans Day
- Frontier Airlines: 75% – 99% off flights booked through midnight 11/11/2019
- Goodyear Auto Service and Just Tire: Veterans and active-duty military get a free car care check and tire installation (schedule by November 11 for appointments by November 16). Service includes:
- Tire Check: Includes a visual check of the tire condition, tread depth, tread pattern and air pressure.
- Brake Check: Includes a visual inspection of brake pads and rotors, shoes and drums, calipers, wheel cylinders, brake hoses, master cylinder and brake fluid level.
- Alignment Check: Includes inspection of wheel angles to determine if they meet manufacturer recommendations.
- Shock and Struts Check: Includes inspection of shocks, struts, and springs in your vehicle’s steering and suspension systems for signs of wear or damage.
- Battery Check: Includes testing the voltage of your battery. Fully charged batteries should measure at 12.6 volts or above. When the engine is running, this measurement should be 13.7 to 14.7 volts.
- Wiper Blade Check: Includes inspection of your wiper blades to make sure they are working properly
- Sports Clips: Active service members get a free haircut with a valid ID on Veterans Day. Sports Clips will also donate a dollar to the Help a Hero scholarship for every haircut anyone gets on Veterans Day.

Veterans day sounds very nice as a way to recognize and honor those veterans who have served. Good to see that there are deals on days like this too in restaurants as well. It’s nice to see so many stepping forward and offering everything from free meals and haircuts to great discounts on airfare and free vehicle checks.
I am not a veteran myself but have several friends who are. I will definitely share this page with them. That said, I’m loving the free national park access for all too.
