I tried telling my coworkers that it’s possible to get a lot of nice free stuff from companies when it’s your birthday. I don’t think they really believed me. But your site/page is the proof I need. I will send it to them. Even I didn’t know there were so many things to collect. Too bad I just had my birthday in October. I wished I’ve seen it before.

Wow, there are so many offers up here for free birthday gifts. I think that I will be enjoying my birthday next month because of this. There are so many free gifts here for me to pick from. I think that I will need to bookmark this and sign up for as many as I can sign up for. Tha ks alot for this post here.

    • Alyce says:

Wow – your timing is perfect as it’s best to sign up in advance to make sure your details are included for the free birthday gifts!

I had no idea that there were so many birthday rewards with in the beauty industry.  Many of the ones you have listed, I am not familiar with, but there were a few that I do purchase their products, and I had no idea they had a reward program available.  I am going to add there programs today.

I am familiar with the Aveda program, as I recently joined it.  It has rolled around to my birthday since joining their program, and I wasn’t aware that I would receive anything for my birthday, so that is a bonus.

I wasn’t aware that they would ship to me for over $48 purchase for free.  That is great news, since I recently moved and it isn’t as close as it used to be.  It won’t be hard to get the minimum sale, since most things I purchase are already over that amount.

I am also part of the Yes2You program that Kohl’s offers, but I have never received anything for my birthday.  I will have to back and look at my account to see if I included my birthday when signing up.  Thanks for the heads up on that.

These are really wonderful. My daughter often complain about not having enough money to get gift items for her friends on their birthday and have always refused to ask me for money. These are really nice offers for anyone to benefit from. I’ll introduce it to her and me myself would jump on these great opportunity. Thanks for sharing.

    • Alyce says:

There are definitely a lot of great ways to get free birthday beauty items on the list. Hopefully your daughter finds a handful that she will enjoy!

  7. Michel says:

Wow, it must be quite something to actually get 131 birthday gifts. And these gifts have the ability to make you feel beautiful and young again. Who doesn’t enjoy a bit of self-pampering?

I wonder if people overseas can sign up for these offers? Usually, this type of thing is only for people living in the vicinity of the store. Bobby Brown, however, is a worldwide company, so they should honor the gift promise anywhere in the world.

    • Alyce says:

These are focused on US companies, but as you’ve noted, many of the brands are available worldwide, so you may as well check to see if your favorite offers free birthday beauty treats in your area!

  8. Shane Fegan says:

Juicy rewards programs are a great incentive to current and prospective clients.

A really good way of utilising these is to apply them to birthday or other anniversary offers, milestones, etc.

Sephora is a much wanted and popular brand, quite often the go to for the ladies.

With 131 separate gift options, why not make this your website of choice for options.

    • Alyce says:

We all need to take good care of our skin, and especially so as we age. It’s great to get these annual beauty and skincare birthday gifts!

  9. Shannon says:

My wife LOVES Sephora and she shops there quite often I would love to sign her up without her knowing. Is that possible or would I have to contact Sephora to find out? I often shop ULTA when I can find one so I don’t get a chance to shop them often I noticed that in-store purchase isn’t needed but do I have to shop there at all to receive the birthday gift. I hate shopping for my product online.

I am signing up for beauty depot though I love Dermalogica products they have a seaweed mask to die for and the pre-cleanse is heavenly.

Glad I found your site and I put it on a bookmark for later readings

    Thanks for posting

    Shannon

    • Alyce says:

Hi Shannon, To receive the ULTA gift, you will need to sign up in advance for their loyalty program. You won’t need to make a purchase, but I believe that you will have to visit a store to pick up your free gift.

You should be able to sign up for your wife at Sephora and most other places as well, as none of the programs require proof of identity (except where noted).

Thanks for the tip about the nice seaweed mask from Dermalogica – I’ll have to check that out!! I am a big fan of their products – a favorite is the “daily superfoliant”.

Very interesting article! I didn’t realize so many offers were available for your birthday, and especially for beauty products. I have a sister who is 15 and she’s getting to that age where she is beginning to care more about her appearance as do most teenagers, which offers do you believe are the best for someone like her?

    • Alyce says:

Hi Jose, there are definitely some brands that cater to the younger market and those who are just starting to develop their makeup and skincare routines. ELF Cosmetics, NYX Cosmetics, and Pacifica are all great brands to try out, but as far as birthday offers, it’s going to be hard to beat the freebies (no purchase required) that you can get at Ulta, Sephora, and Space NK!

    What a job!

You have made my birthday so huge. Awesome collection from the world of beauty for fans of beauty products. I am so glad for you to sign up on all the programs.

I am on skincare niche and had no idea of so many institutions are dedicated to improving the beauty and giving away free products, money, and discounts on your birthday.

I want to have many birthdays (LOL).

I like free gifts and especially on my Birthday. Great thought, dear.

    • Alyce says:

Wonderful, these birthday giveaways sure do make a gal feel special! There are even a handful of beauty birthday gifts for the fellas too!!

  12. Nuttanee says:

Coming to your site never failed me. I have no idea that there are many stores participating on birthday promotions. I only know about Sephora by accident, I happened to shop on my birthday that year and they give me this amazing lip balm from Fresh, I love it. I will stop by Ulta next time as well. Thanks for the heads up on signing up early 🙂 Will take advantage of birthday offers.

    • Alyce says:

I was able to get both the Sephora and Ulta birthday gifts last year too… plus dozens of others! It felt great to get spoiled with beauty freebies!!

  13. Virendra says:

So many discounts and so little time! Soon I’ll be having my birthday so I might benefit using one of these products just to make sure that I’ll look amazing on my 28th birthday ;). Thank you for the article and all the effort you must have put into it.

  14. Mecyll Gaspary says:

Wow, just wow. It’s a lot of beauty products on the list. How long did you write this one? I bet it’s days. Anyway, I really appreciate that you made such lengthy, comprehensive list of products apt for the birthday celebrants’ needs. 🙂

If these were in a Korean society, I heard most people tend to choose cosmetic surgeries as young as 15 to change how they look to appear more beautiful than they are. It’s quite rampant. So, having seen your post encouraging people to buy these products rather than getting surgeries is encouraging.

Kudos to writing this post. Job well done.

    • Alyce says:

Hi Mecyll, It did take quite of bit of time to research this one… I personally signed up for each offer, and took advantage of dozens of the birthday beauty freebies! It. was. awesome.

Individuals, societies, and fashion can all have a different idea of beauty, so it’s hard to know what trends are going to influence people…

One thing is for certain: we all need a lifetime of skincare to protect from skin cancers and other skin conditions. Adding cosmetics and other beauty products can dramatically change a person’s look and help boost confidence. But getting free beauty treats on your birthday is just fun! 🙂

      Warm Regards, Alyce

  15. Cathy says:

I have been wanting to get into some kind of subscription box – just for the fun of it, so I am glad to see that they have some perks for birthday girls. I like to experiment with different beauty products since it’s also part of what I do. $10 off from a $50+ purchase is a huge deal. Will definitely consider signing up before the big day comes. Thanks!

    • Alyce says:

Hi Cathy! I hope you enjoy the extra treats on your birthday! Make sure to take advantage of the deals that don’t require a purchase if these stores are in your area (including Benefit, Sephora, Space NK, and ULTA).

      Warm Regards, Alyce

This is very thorough research you have done on this. Thank you so much on all these valuable links. My question is about loyalty programs. Won’t day want you to be a regular customer first before they are sending you free gifts? How many of these companies will ask nothing in return? Sure it would be nice to use their free gifts and never having to order anything. But I don’t believe that is their purpose. How much junk mail do you have to go through? I am a little sceptic. Hope you can clarify what a loyalty program asks in return. thank you.

    • Alyce says:

      Hi Ananda,

Your concerns are valid, and I have definitely sorted through a lot of emails to compile this information. I’ve put as many details as possible with the offers, including the requirements for getting the freebies. Here are my favorites:

      – If you are near a Benefit Brow Bar, all you need to do to redeem your birthday gift is show ID at the location! No purchase or sign up required

      – If these stores are in your area, you don’t need to make any purchase at all to drop in and pick up your free gifts (loyalty membership is required, but if you create a separate free email account just for your rewards programs, you won’t need to sort through offers on a daily basis — you could just check on the free gifts when your birthday approaches). Stores with birthday gifts with no purchase required include: Benefit, Diptyque, Sephora, Space NK, and ULTA

      Warm Regards, Alyce

I love your site! My wifes birthday is coming up soon and I will have her sign up for a bunch of these! Love getting free stuff and some of these great products we use and purchase anyways by buying in stores. My wife definitely loves the Bobby Brown and Birchbox stuff. Thank you so much and look forward to your next posts in future!

    • Alyce says:

Thanks Don! I hope your wife appreciates the great offers on these beauty products! Don’t let her have ALL the fun though… men need skincare and bodycare too! Last year I used my Cos Bar birthday points (combined with loyalty program signup bonus points) to get a dreamy tube of Marvis toothpaste for almost free.

      All the best, Alyce
