Thanks for these gift ideas.  With 10 days left until Mother’s Day, there is lots of time to order through your site and received the gifts.  For some reason,  gifts for the kitchen are always appreciated.  I am looking particularly at the foldable colander and the nice, little spice rack.  If we buy through the link in the article, are we using Prime?  I guess it doesn’t matter because of the discount.  Thanks for these suggestions and the handy online links.

    • Alyce says:

Hi Anastazja, The prices on Amazon’s website should be valid for everyone, but only Amazon Prime members will receive Prime shipping (no extra cost for fast delivery).

I also have several friends that love to cook, and I sometimes struggle to find unique gifts for them, thank you for curating this great collection of kitchen finds and great prices.

    • Alyce says:

  6. Cogito says:

Hi Alyce. Thank you for very interesting article. Im always struggle what to but my friends when Im visiting them, but they do love to cook and some of items on your list are really great idea. I especially like spice jars which looks soo cute and chopper knife which is extra useful for herbs and salads. Looking forward to order some of these !

  7. Alicia says:

I have the flexible plastic cutting mats and they are the best. They aren’t big and bulky, so they don’t take up much room in my cabinet. They also have pictures of the type of food meant to be cut on each, which is perfect because I don’t want to cut raw chicken on the same mat that I’m cutting fresh vegetables.

    • Alyce says:

Hi Alicia, Aren’t those flexible cutting mats fantastic? It’s so nice to have four labeled cutting mats in less space than one traditional cutting board! I first received a set of these as a gift, and hopefully, others will enjoy getting a set of their own as well!

  8. cathy says:

I love the topic, especially the price range–under $25. I can’t walk into a bed, bath and beyond without spending $100 or more on kitchen gadgets, most of which I will never use. Amazon and I are old friends so ordering isn’t an issue. I played around a little on your other sections and was really impressed. You took time to put all these special prices, discounts and savings together yourself for your readers instead of just regurgitating someone else’s efforts. Hats off to you!  The only slightly negative comment is that there are a few kitchen items over $25 in your list (yeah, I checked each and every one of them out).

    • Alyce says:

Hi Cathy, Thanks so much for the feedback and for checking out all the items! Everything included in the list was under $25 when the article was published, so anything currently priced higher than that will indicate that the item is not priced as well as it used to be.

Rest assured, items are removed if their price goes over $25, but it’s a manual process and sometimes there is a small delay before the items are removed from the article. So sorry for any confusion this may have caused.

  9. Muslimah says:

This is such a great list of cooking gifts. I never knew I could get affordable gifts like this on Amazon.

They are all nice, but my best pick is the flexible plastic cutting board. I like the attractive colors and the fact that it doesn’t occupy much space. In addition, I can dish wash it. That’s great.

I have bookmarked this gift post for future purposes.

    Thank you.

    Cheers.

    • Alyce says:

Hello Muslimah! We have a bunch of those flexible plastic cutting boards and they get a LOT of use in our kitchen. We love that they are lightweight, effective, don’t take up much space, and can be washed in the dishwasher! Definitely a kitchen product that we highly recommend!

  10. Lily says:

I think my favorite was the Nessie Ladle. That is so cute and in my favorite color turquoise. You really gave me such a range to choose from and I’m going to bookmark your post as I have a few cooks in my family who will love these handy gadgets. I thought your choice was very practical for a change as often these nick-knacks end up cluttering our draws and not used. But these would be so helpful, especially the cast iron handle holders, what a brilliant idea.

I have one of the open/close whisks and I love that it doesn’t fill up my draw space. Thanks.

    • Alyce says:

Hi Lily, Thanks for sharing. I definitely like smart designs like that folding whisk that doesn’t take up too much space!

  11. Lio says:

Wow, I’m so glad I found this article. The microwave popcorn maker is quite appealing to me. One for my kitchen would be great. I see that it has a lot of wonderful qualities, such as making popcorn in a few minutes, being easy to store, and having a dishwasher-safe bowl. Aside from that, it’s really affordable, and I’m looking forward to having it in my kitchen.
I’d also like to have the pot and pan protectors/anti-slip pans separator. I like that they are bendable and cleanable and that they can protect my hot pans.

    Thank you for this post.

    • Alyce says:

Hi Lio, I have that popcorn popper and it’s a great little gadget that gets the job done with ease. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

  12. roprimixz says:

    Hi there,
Wow absolute Piece, You have outdone yourself this time. This is probably the best, most concise list of cooking gifts. I never had the idea that there were Amazingly cool Kitchen cooking items one could get at low prices as this, These are times where articles like this are really helpful to the common man. The SLOW BREW SLOTH Tea Infuser caught my fancy, for the fact that Sloth design is made from food-safe, BPA-free silicone that is tasteless and will not affect the flavor of your tea.
I am glad I came across this, Thanks for sharing this epic piece, I would Love to share it with friends.

    • Alyce says:

Thank you so much for sharing.

I’m a big fan of silicone kitchen products. They are durable and some of the most utilized items in the kitchen — the sloth tea infuser gift takes it up a notch by being useful and also super cute!!

  13. Saint says:

Not everyone of us sees shopping as a fun, for me it is a mental stress of having to make a choice, not just choice, but the best choice. Been a male, having to choose a cooking gift is a nightmare cause I don’t know what to go for an would the person like it, but going though this makes me see a lot of good choices to make at avoidable price.

    • Alyce says:

When giving gifts, it’s helpful to remember that it’s the thought that counts the most, even though we can’t help but want to gift things that someone will truly love and value.

I’m happy to hear that you found some great kitchen gift ideas on this list to help make your shopping easier!

  14. Harry says:

Thanks for another good list of gift ideas that I’m browsing as I do my holiday shopping. I like that there is a variety of unique kitchen gifts that include practical items and also some things that are just for fun. I could probably do all of my shopping from this single list alone (it really helps that these are all affordable).

    • Alyce says:

Hi Harry, I have definitely received some great kitchen gifts over the years! Some gadgets are just wicked smart and make meal prep and cleanup much, much easier!!

  15. Sirmy says:

Wo, thank you. You have done a splendid job. I can’t imagine all these items that come in handy can go at such low prices. This is indeed a post that everyone with a kitchen should bookmark

I especially will consider the Crook to Cook handbook. I know I am a mess when it comes to kitchen but hopefully with these resources, I will start improving.

Thank you for sharing your research and providing directions where we can find the items.

  16. Jack Stephens says:

This site is laid out very well. I would like to see a categorized dropdown menu under the gift ideas though, so I could more easily find things in a particular area, like pots and pans, utensils, etc. But I really like what I see. Lots of good, quality items for gifts or personal use. Thanks for providing all this in one great site!

    • Alyce says:

Thanks for the thoughtful suggestion Jack! It will be taken into conseration as the site is always looking for ways to improve!

  17. Pentrental says:

You’ve covered two of my favorite topics here, kitchen gadgets and items under $25! That you’ve covered 36 of them is outstanding. Looking through your list I have found a few favorites, especially the Bodum Pavina Glasses, the garlic chopper and the Zerroll Ice Cream Scoop. With the holiday season around the corner I’ll be saving your post for when it’s soon time to order some holiday gifts as you’ve really found some solid ones here. Thank you!

    • Alyce says:

Wonderful – I’m glad that you found this to be a useful resource to find great gifts and useful items for the kitchen!!

I also love to cook for my family I can definitely use this website to find great ideas with the easy format and content. Thanks for the selection of great cooking gift ideas!

  19. Feochadan says:

What an excellent list of inexpensive gift ideas.  You’ve hit the perfect time of the year when many of us are starting to scratch our heads for gifts and your selection is awesome.  I’ve always wanted one of those Nessie Ladles.  I had NO IDEA that you could get a microwave popcorn bowl.  What a great idea and it would save a ton of money over buying microwave popcorn in individual bags.  I could go on and on but I’m mainly seeing gifts for ME!  LOL  Very well written!

    • Alyce says:

I’m glad you’ve found a couple of cooking gift items that look interesting to you. The popcorn bowl is something we enjoy in our own home and have given as gifts as well. It’s a great item that gets a lot of use!

  20. Dane says:

These are really nice suggestions of gift and the prices of each of them is really unbelievable. I have often had the thought that these low priced gadgets are usually of low quality of even fake, sadly I’m very wrong in that aspect. I woukd take a quick rush to my kitchen and see what I could get from these list to gift my wife with. Big thanks for sharing this post.

    • Alyce says:

Well, you’re wise to suspect that if a price is too low that the quality might not be at a level you would like. Fortunately, products on Amazon will usually have plenty of reviews so you can get more opinions on the quality of the product without having to take the seller’s word for it.

  21. My Daily Pointers says:

    Hi,

I’m very happy to have come across your article. My mom does alot of cooking especially during festive periods. I have been thinking of the perfect gift for her and your article has helped in that regard.

I think the thick flexible cutting board and the grips would be a perfect choice. This would be helpful as she uses a napkin for grip instead. Although they are thick, is there a tendency that the cutting board mats can absorb liquid? If possible, it would go a long way to help reduce the friction on the kitchen table.

Thank you once again for this helpful article.

    • Alyce says:

Hi there, those cutting boards are not absorbent, rather they are flexible sheets of a relatively thick plastic-type material that is bendable. They would certainly protect the table, but wouldn’t absorb liquids. They are fantastic though and it’s great to have all 4 of them handy when prepping a big meal!

  22. donnaker says:

Wow!! It’s awesome gadgets at a reasonable price. All gadgets are unique & beneficial. I love cooking from my childhood. But nowadays I don’t get enough time for cooking, these gadgets help me a lot. I really want to buy stand up paper towel holder & elevate kitchen utensil to make my kitchen easy & comfortable. I also gift my mother from those gadgets & she was very happy to get that.

    • Alyce says:

Fantastic choices! It’s great to have smart pieces in the kitchen that are designed well to make working so much more efficient.

  23. Carmen says:

An informative post and thank you for such a thorough research. The prices are very good. I would be interested
Lodge Striped Hot Handle Holders / Mitts, Set of 2 because I always have problems with the kitchen cloth I use. Because I love to make cakes I find it interesting AmazonBasics Silicone Macaron Baking Mat Sheet, Set of 2. Thanks for sharing.

    best regards

    • Alyce says:

Those Lodge Pot holder mitts have been awesome in our kitchen and are used pretty much every day. The silicone mats are also very useful, even if we haven’t been baking as much (due to the heat of the summer)… they’ll start coming in very handy as the holidays approach!

  24. Sondra M says:

Wow, you have assembled a great list of kitchen gadgets.  I was originally shopping for my sister who loves unique gadgets.  Then I ended up seeing other items that would appeal to some of my other friends.

The Nessie shaped kitchen ladle so cute.   What a great idea.   I like the turquoise color also.   I think I want one for myself also.  I am glad that you included it in this list.

  25. MazieD says:

These are wonderful kitchen friendly gift items, and in such variety that there must be something will fit your every need. The prices are great.  I am particularly in love with the Bee’s Wrap Eco-friendly Reusable Beeswax Food Wraps.

I like that you mentioned they are washable etc., and stores food naturally. I certainly will be checking these out later.  Thanks for this very informative review.

  26. Alisha says:

Those are some really great kitchen gadgets under $25.  You certainly did your research!  I will be checking back to find more deals!

My favorite item is the microwave popcorn popper.  I love microwave popcorn but I do not like cooking it in a bag!  I did not even know something like that existed!

  27. Christine says:

This is exactly what I was looking for, a nice gift for a friend who lives cooking.

She is crazy about popcorn too. The microwave popcorn maker will definitely make her happy. My husband loves popcorn too. I will get one for him, so he can make his own popcorn 🙂

    Thank you for the list.

    • Alyce says:

Hi Christine, you’re most welcome! We enjoy making the popcorn with that popcorn maker using coconut oil at our house — it’s slightly different than using vegetable oil but a very tasty way to make great popcorn!

  28. jeffcott121 says:

As Prithvi is moving forward, technology is making it easier for people. No longer do you have to burn fire. Everything is available within the reach of the hand. And technology has made it easier to cook now through electricity, which saves time and less effort. And different companies are offering various facilities to cure people. Which people get before seeking. Some of those companies are companies like Alibaba, Amazon, Daraj, Dreams, Agra, etc. that make people different and motivate them to work. Likewise, cooking is a means of conquering the mind of the people. The better the cooking, the higher the price. So cooking has reached the peak of praise by combining technology with people.

  29. water life says:

I often shop online and especially from Amazon. The cooking gadgets you present here are unique. The prices are excellent. I do a lot of cooking, maybe more than my wife because I like it a lot. Sure I’ll get something for myself but I would prefer one in particular for our friendly married couple, who both love cooking. Your article is very useful.

    • Alyce says:

Amazon is a great source to find helpful tools to use in the kitchen. I’m glad to hear that I helped you to find some great options either for your own home or as a gift.

  30. Jordan Smith says:

Awesome list you’ve got here. I know much about Colonel Popper Microwave Popcorn Maker Air Popper Silicone Bowl, because I got it late 2018. I was not sure about buying it at that time, but I am very happy that I did. It was far better than popping on the stove top or using my hot air popper (lol!). It is also very easy to use and clean. Thanks for taking time to write on this.

    Regards!

    • Alyce says:

We get a lot of use out of our silicone popcorn making bowl as well. It’s even simple enough for the kids to use!

  31. AirplaneJane says:

Wow love these ideas as I am a total foodie and chef. You in fact had an item that I was looking for from my childhold of the citrus peeler. All of these are great ideas and super useful items and great gift ideas.

Who doesnt need extra space in their shelves and a plate stand would come in super useful.

Also under the kitchen sink organizer for the foil and plastic wrap. Great idea for inexpensive quality kitchen items

    • Alyce says:

Those citrus peelers are cool… I went looking for one of my own after using an old Tupperware version at my parents house. It’s a very simple, yet effective, kitchen tool to have around!

  32. Michel says:

If I had to choose a gift for myself, I love the squirrel shaped paddle spoon, it’s very cute and useful at the same time. I like that it is plastic so won’t scratch my nonstick pots and pans.

I also love the tea bag organizer. This is such a useful and unusual gift and perfect for someone who likes to drink different varieties of tea, as you can see exactly what you are looking for without having to dig around in a tin.

    • Alyce says:

Hi Michel, The tea organizer is great. Guests are always happy to be able to browse the selection of teas and I’ve had a few guests who wanted to know where I purchased it… After being asked about it a few times, I figured that I needed to share with the world as well! 🙂

  33. sid says:

Hello! I hope that you are having a good day!

Those pot protectors are something that I would want the “Food makers” in my family to use. We don’t want them just damaging them again and again now do we? Thank you for putting the word out. I does seem really cheap, all these, products for being the best out there (*just saved myself a lot of money*).

    Sid

    • Alyce says:

Good call Sid! We have a set of the cast iron pot protectors in our home and they make cooking so much easier. It’s great to not need to find a potholder each time you need to move the pan!

  34. Christine says:

I need a gift for me, because I love cooking! I love the squirrel shaped rice spoon, so unique and practical! The tea stand is also great, I drink a lot of tea, so I can use it 🙂 I have a tea infuser in the shape of a dog. They’re very good (and cute, I love mine). The double wall glass set also comes in very handy, because I live in the desert and summers are very hot here … I need glasses that keep drinks cold. I may order that set, + the reusable straws. Gosh, there is so much great stuff on your blog. I don’t know which I should order first 😉

  35. Wendy says:

These sure are unique kitchen gadgets! I cook a lot but some of these I’ve never even heard of. I love the crock-pot lunch warmer. I want one of these for myself. This is perfect, especially in the winter months. You could bring soup for lunch and it heats it up while your are working. I think that is pretty cool. Thanks for the list of gift ideas, although I think I’m gonna end up getting something for myself.

    • Alyce says:

Hi Wendy, You are more than welcome to get them for yourself! That is how I’ve ended up realizing they also made great gifts… I figure if I love it, my friends and family will love these kitchen gadgets as well!

  36. LK says:

I must write that this is some universal signal, I was discussing with my wife last night about buy kitchen items online and there we go. I am highly impressed with your ideas and prices. As an online shopper, I definitely try to look for such items that provide value for money. And I glad that I hopped into the right place. Awesome!

Thanks for revealing so many beauty for such a low amount, I honestly run out of ideas when trying to get stuffs like this, from quality to price range and I’m glad I got to know that most things like the tea infuser could be gotten at a very low amount,  I’ll also gift these to my mum because she has been asking for one and to think of the fact that it’s so affordable makes me want to take advantage of this opportunity.

    • Alyce says:

Fun items in the kitchen are so simple and yet they can bring a smile to the most routine parts of the day… like making a cup of tea! I hope your mum enjoys!

  38. Trevor M says:

No questions on the topic or overall article as my discussion would be that lots of people don’t take advantage of these gadgets and they should! As lots of these items save you time, money and mess in the kitchen! My Experience would be that my wife and I cook all the time and we only eat out once a month. Having kids we always look for cheap and healthy ways to keep it easy and clean. Lots of these are great and are must haves in the kitchen to make life easier and who doesn’t want to make cooking and cleaning easier!

  39. Henderson says:

I actually hot out of ideas as to the gifts I can buy for her but I got various suggestions from the list and ive been able to figure out the gifts I will get for her. Thanks for this helpful article

  41. Henderson says:

This is a really good one here. I am looking to gift a friend some kitchen items and you just brought everything in here for me that is so affordable yet so useful to whoever will have them. I like the kitchen utensil set and the hand chopper too. I was also drawn to the pop corn maker but I think three is a crowd. Lol. Thank you for putting this up to help me manage my money. Awesome!
